Welbeck House

Internal redecoration and restoration of communal parts in a grand period mansion block (with concierge) in London’s West End. The Client’s interior designer (EKA) provided Visionstream with the interior design scheme and full specification of works. This included complete redecoration and repair of all previously painted surfaces, replacement of intercom systems across 25 residential apartments, and overhaul, restoration and replating of 3 large chandeliers in the ground floor entrance and lobby.

The Welbeck house restoration project was skilfully managed to prevent disruption of movement for onsite residents, while stairways and ceilings were being refurbished. The period-style communal radiators and chandeliers were lovingly restored and replated to the designer’s specifications, and fully complemented the bespoke carpet that was fitted to the entire communal area. Many bespoke items were created for this project including the Wainscot panelling in the stairways. The final result was one of opulence, totally befitting of this grand period mansion block.
