Barneswood is a Development Construction and Refurbishment company, specialising in the Development, Maintenance and Construction of commercial and residential properties in London and the South East of England.
Barneswood strives to produce high end results through regular communication with and by giving each client personal attention. This is achieved with regular progress meetings through the project with the project manager. Barneswood is a company with particular expertise in the restoration and refurbishment of buildings. Giles Whitby-Smith
Managing Director and Founder
Giles was formerly an investment banker and broker. He worked on the London International Financial Futures Floor for 7 years and then headed up one of the traded options desks at Credit Suisse First Boston. He left the City in 2000 and been actively trading and developing property since then.
He has always had property in his blood (via family and personal portfolio) and became an active property investor in 1990. He has significant experience in re-development and construction, and has qualifications in construction management.
